I have been a customer of Honda for 14 years. My grandmother recently passed away and I needed to take over her car payments to help my grandfather. I had to turn in my lease 7 months early. I paid the 7months up front and asked two Honda Financial agents if my account balance was $0 and both answered yes and that there would be no further charges. Sure enough, $372 bill appeared on my account. When inquiring about the fee, the agent said oh yeah, I see the agents never told you but there is an early release fee of $350 plus taxes. I explained my situation and that I am already paying for another car and did not budget for this amount. I was told twice my account was closed. The agent was only able to tell me she could discount $100 or make the entire fee in separate payments. When my husband called to see if anyone would help the same lady answered and said she had a recorded call of me agreeing to the fee, which I did not. He asked to speak with a manager and she said no. After paying $1870 to turn in the car and leaving thousands of unused miles, I am in disbelief by this company. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I recommend never using this awful company and I will NEVER purchase a Honda vehicle again.

So far I love Honda, I love my car... I purchased my second vehicle november 30, 2016! I got it with a great deal and everything went smoothly, they arranged all the paperwork & set my first payment to be on January 14th, 2017. On the next day the sales person contact me requesting a copy of my ID & SSN, I when ahead & forward it via email, which let me point out that my sales person was very slow when it came down to filling my application online, due to his age & he was not really up to date with technology, which I had lots of patience watching him redo the application online over & over! On the next day I received a reply from ash, the sales person! stating that he couldn't retrieve the pictures! & that it need it to be sent as an attachment, I did that & this situation when on for over a week, that he couldn't retrieved the data! even tho I resent it multiple times from different devices! so I when ahead forward the email to their main company email! got a reply with, they got it thanks!. which I am very sure no-one even bothered to retrieve it, because days later I had Wendy from the finance department asking for a copy of my ID & SSN! at this point I was irritated so I called her contact number & asked her to check her email, & she was able to retrieve it right away!! said thanx & we said our goodbyes!& that was it. On January 7th, 2017 8am I got a call from Honda financial services stating that I was 10 days late on my previous lease & that I need it to make a payment I explained that I had turned in that lease for a new car, asked if it showed that I had purchased a new car! the representative said no & that I need it to call my dealer, which it irritated me because according to me Honda is Honda! & I didn't understood why i had to juggle around & have calls done back & forward to figure out what was wrong! & since I had no choice, I called Wendy & there was no answer so I left a voicemail, then I decided to call ash, the sales person! which he did answered, & told me he was going to figure it out! & to not worry!. Later on that same day I was worried that I didn't get a call back from Wendy, due to Honda financial services letting me know this was my responsibility & that my dealer need it to send in the paperwork for my new car & payment of my previous lease, so that I won't get a late fee. Around 5ish I when ahead and attempted my 3rd call to the finance department! left a voicemail that I was very disappointed! 1 hr later, a representative called me stating that they had it under control & that I was gonna receive a confirmation of the process! she apologized & I was at ease! On the next week I called Honda financial services to submit my first payment, & the representative let me know because of the delay of the process, my payment will be due on Feb 14th, 2017 due to the way the process was made! & I was a bit skeptical so I called back the lady that I spoke last with, which she didn't answer, I left her a voicemail & asked her how I can get the first payment thru! I never got a call back! days later I received my plates, registration etc; Also my first statement! stating my first payment to be due on FEB 14th, 2017! I was finally happy I got all that resolved! Until now Feb 8th, 2017 I got a personal writing letter of Carla Romero from finance collections at culver city honda! requesting a payment of 575$ that was due on Jan 14th, 2017. Now I have the check ready to be sent, Im making it out to Culver city honda! & will also be paying what is due for Feb on the website, Im just curious though to who will be cashing out my check! Because according to Honda financial services I never had the 2017 car until they sent in the paperwork & the whole process shows as if i purchased the car on January! & we all know that when you purchase a new vehicle to own, first payment is on them! Can anyone give me their feedback or advice so that I can proceed with my payments!!!

I bought a Honda Civic from Honda and never had a problem with payments. I wanted to give a big shout out to the customer service team that was extremely helpful in resolving an issues I had with my title, and sent a replacement release form in the matter of hours. Thank you for pulling me out of a bad situation!

Honda Finance should be taken to court and fined for unethical business practices. It seems as if "at home mothers" are running the system. This is the most screwed up HFC system I have ever seen. BB lies and must be in bed with Honda Finance Corporation. I will never buy another honda. I've owned 13 new Honda vehicles but this is the last.

Honda Financial causes more problems than they solve. My loan was completely paid off with them, but for whatever reason, it was never reported. So on my credit score, I now have an open account and unpaid balance. They incorrectly reported it and now the damage will be with me forever!

This company will ruin your credit score and not feel any remorse about it. After a wreck, my insurance company paid the remaining balance, and I had to pay a couple hundred. I was not made aware of this amount, and it went past due. Now, even though I've paid it, it shows on my credit. They refuse to fix it even though it has been resolved.

I missed ONE PAYMENT with Honda Financial Services and they demanded that I pay the full remaining balance on my car. They didn't even let me know right away, when I spoke with them. I got a notice in the mail DEMANDING I pay. They are the worst lending company and I will never work with them again!

I've used Honda Financial multiple times over the years for my families cars. Every single time, they deliver world class service with the best possible interest rates. I've never had a late payment, so I can't necessarily speak about that. But they will continue to be my go-to for auto loans.

This company will threaten you until they get what they want. They owed me for overpaid taxes (I paid them when I was threatened) and have yet to pay up. I have been threatened so many times, I can't even count. They say they'll repo your car and mess up your credit score. Horrible company.

I am completely convinced that Honda Financial runs some sort of scam within their company. I moved out of state, and they kept calling me in order to collect taxes from the previous state. I explained the situation, but they didn't stop. I eventually paid. They said I'd get a refund check, but it's been months. I know it's not coming.

Honda Financial Services has absolutely no problem harassing you. I know there are laws against calling before and after certain times of the day, but they do not adhere to these rules. I have been called before 8am. They must have automatic calling systems, because they are usually robots and never real people.

I have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully. Honda Financial seems to do everything in their power to make you feel like a worthless being. I made one late payment, less than 30 days, and they reported on my credit score as a payment that was over 30 days late. They won't even talk to me about fixing it. Bad company.

Honda is such a cheap company! After paying all my loan, they sent my title to me by regular snail mail. Every other company will send it along with a tracking number just to be sure! Months past, and nothing. I had to finally pay to get other documents proving my ownership. They lost my title and I still had to pay.

I sent in my payment so it would be processed on time, but for whatever reason, Honda held it way past my due date. I sent it with adequate time, so I know it was not late. They actually had the audacity to repo my car because of this. I really, really recommend that everyone stay away. They are a bad, bad company.

Honda Financial took money out of my bank account that they were not supposed to. They lured me in with autopay because if you use it, you pay for a shorter length of time. Turns out, they took out money totaling over a grand in one month, when it should have just been two payments. I am still waiting to get a refund..

I am very impressed with Honda Financials customer service. I fell on hard times and my car got repossessed. I don't blame them, I could not make the payments. I spoke with customer service and they were very courteous about it. Not once did I feel belittled. I managed to work out a payment option to get my car back. Great service.

I have yet to have any issues with Honda Financial Services. They are a decent company who treats their customer's okay (that I've seen). I've never been late with my payment so there haven't been problems on that front. I would recommend Honda Financial Services because they deliver on what they say they will.

Making payments with Honda Financial Services is really quite a pain in the rear. On our account it shows that we have missed several payments, which have been reported to the credit bureaus. In reality, the payments have come out of our bank account every month. It's been months, and this problem still has not been fixed.
